The Classic of Mountains and Seas - The Great Desert West

1, Buzhou Negative Son Mountain

① Buzhou: Legend has it that ****worker angrily hit Buzhou Mountain, causing this mountain to break.

② Yu attacked the ****worker's state mountain: the place where the legend says that Great Yu killed ****worker's minister Xiangliu.

Outside the Northwest Sea, in a corner of the Great Wilderness, there is a mountain that is not closed, called Buzhou Mountain, and there are two yellow beasts guarding Buzhou Mountain. There is a stream of water called the Cold Summer Water. To the west of the Cold Summer Water there was a wet mountain, and to the east of the Cold Summer Water there was a curtain mountain. There was a mountain where Yu attacked **** Worker's Country.

2, Shushi Country

There was a country called Shushi Country, and the nationals were all descendants of Emperor Zhuan Xu.

3, Nuwa Intestine

There were ten divine beings, collectively known as Nuwa Intestine, all of whom were deities transformed from Nuwa's intestines, and lived in the wilderness known as Kurihiro, and all of whom lived horizontally on the roads.

4, SHIYI

There was a man called SHIYI, who was called YI by the people of the west, and the wind that blew from his side was called WEI, and he was at the north-west corner of the earth in charge of the length of time in which the sun and the moon rose and set.

5, The Mad Bird

There was a bird with colorful feathers and a crown on its head, called the Mad Bird.

6, The Land of the White Folk, the Land of the Long Shins

There was a great zephyr, the Long Mountain. There was a country of white folk.

Outside the Northwest Sea, on the east bank of the Red Water, there is another country of the Long Shins.

7, The Kingdom of the Western Zhou

There was a kingdom of the Western Zhou, whose citizens were all surnamed Ji, and ate grain. And there was a man who plowed the fields, and his name was Shujiun. And there came a man named Shujiun, who plowed the fields, and his name was Shujiun. Houji's brother was called Taixi, and Taixi gave birth to Shujun. Shujun took the place of his father and Houji in sowing all kinds of grains, and was the first to start cultivating the fields. There was a clan of Chiguo Tsumi. There was a double mountain.

8, Square Mountain

Outside the Western Sea, in the midst of the great wilderness, there was a Square Mountain, on which there was a great green tree called Cabinet Pine, where the sun and the moon came out.

9, The Kingdom of the Heavenly People

Outside the Northwest Sea, on the west bank of the Red Water, there was a kingdom of the Heavenly People, whose citizens ate grain, and were able to tame and drive the four kinds of wild beasts.

10, The Kingdom of Beidi

There was a kingdom of Beidi. The grandson of the Yellow Emperor was called Shijun, and the descendants of Shijun's children formed the kingdom of Beidi.

11, Prince Changqin

There was a mountain of Mang. There was a mountain of Gui. There was a mountain of Huan. There was a man on the mountain called Prince Chang Qin. Zhuan Xu gave birth to Lao Tong, Lao Tong gave birth to Zhu Rong, Zhu Rong gave birth to Prince Chang Qin. Prince Chang Qin lived on the mountain of Huan, and was the first to begin composing the winds of music.

12, three kinds of birds

There are three kinds of birds with colorful feathers: one is called the Imperial Bird, one is called the Luanluan Bird, and one is called the Phoenix Bird.

There is a beast that looks like a rabbit, and all the back of its breast is bare, but it cannot be seen, for its fur is green, like that of an ape, and it hides all that is bare.

13, Mount Fung Frustrated Jade Gate

In the great wilderness there is a mountain, Mount Fung Frustrated Jade Gate, where the sun and the moon set.

14, Spirit Mountain

There is a Spirit Mountain, where the ten sorcerers, Wuham, Wuji, Wuji, Wujian, Wupeng, Wugu, Wujin, Wuli, Wutai, Wuxie, Wuxie, Wuluo, come down from the sky and from the earth on this mountain, and where all kinds of medicinal herbs grow.

15, Wo Min Guo

① Xuan Cui: a kind of beautiful jade.

② Rangan (láng gān): an immortal tree in ancient legend, with fruit like beads.

③ 鵹 (lí): these three green birds are all legendary birds that fetch food for Queen Mother of the West.

There are the Western Queen Mother Mountain, Gully Mountain, and Hai Mountain. There is a country of Wo Min, a country inhabited by the Wo Min. Those who live in the Wo Min Country eat the eggs of the phoenix bird and drink the nectar that falls from the sky. Whatever they wanted, they could eat in their own country. Here there are also the Gan Hua tree, the Gan Chaen tree, the White Willow tree, the Beast of Sight and Flesh, the Three Zhui Horses, the Xuan Cui Jade, the Yao Bi Jade, the White Wood tree, the Luang Rengan tree, the White Dan, the Green Dan, and rich deposits of Silver and Iron. The luan bird sings at ease, the phoenix bird dances at ease, and there are all kinds of wild beasts here, and they all dwell together, so that it is called the fertile field.

There were three great green birds, all with red heads and black eyes; one was called the Great Bird, one was called the Lesser Bird, and one was called the Green Bird.

There is a Regulus Terrace, where no one who shoots arrows dares to shoot to the west, for they all fear the Regulus Terrace.

16, Dragon Mountain

In the great wilderness, there was a Dragon Mountain, where the sun and moon set.

There are three great water swamps that converge into one, called San Nao, where the Kungo people get their food.

17, female ugly corpse

So Lai came to the earth and later gave birth to Choke, which is at the westernmost point of the earth and is in charge of the sequence of the sun, the moon, and the operation of the stars.

24 Chang Xi

There was a woman washing the moon. Chang Xi, the wife of Di Jun, gave birth to twelve moons and began to bathe them.

25, Xuan Dan Mountain

There was a Xuan Dan Mountain. On Xundan Mountain there is a bird with colorful feathers, a human face and hair. Here also are the green and yellow, the green bird and the yellow bird, which will perish in whichever country they gather and roost.

26, Meng Yi Attack Zhuan Xu Pond

27, 鏖鏊钜山

30, Kunlunqiu

South of the Western Sea, on the bank of the quicksand, behind the Red Water and in front of the Black Water, there is a great mountain called Kunlunqiu. On the mountain there was a god--with the face of a man and the body of a tiger, with patterns on his body and tail, all white--living in the mountain. Beneath the Kunlun Mountain a deep abyss surrounded by a weak accumulation of water, and beyond the abyss there was an inflamed volcano that burned immediately when things were thrown into it. A divine being, with jade jewelry on her head, tiger-like teeth and a leopard's tail, lived in a cave; she was the Queen Mother of the West. This mountain has all the things of the world.

31, Changyang Mountain

In the great wilderness there is a mountain called Changyang Mountain, where the sun and the moon set.

32, The Land of the Cold Wastes

There was a Land of the Cold Wastes. Here there were two men named Female Sacrifice and Female Mie.

33, The Land of Shouma

There was a country called the Land of Shouma. Nanyue took as his wife the daughter of Chushan, and her name was Nieqi (女虔). She gave birth to Jig, and Jig gave birth to Shouma. Shouma could not see a shadow even when he stood in the sun, and there was not the slightest echo when he cried out with a loud voice. It was so hot that one could not go there.

34, The Corpse of Xia Keng

① The Corpse of Xia Keng: The description of this figure is very much like that of Interceptor, who is said to be a descendant of Interceptor.

② Cheng Tang: the founding monarch of the Shang Dynasty, who defeated Xia Jie, the last monarch of the Xia Dynasty. Also called Shang Tang.

③ Xia Jie: the last monarch of the Xia Dynasty, a famous tyrant in history. When Xia Keng's corpse stood up, he realized that he had no head, and fled to Mount Wu to avoid pursuit.

35, Wu Hui

There was a man named Wu Hui, who had only a left arm and no right arm.

36, The Country of Gai Shan

There was a country of Gai Shan. There was a tree whose bark, branches, and trunk were red, and whose leaves were green, and its name was Zhu Mu (朱木). There was a kind of arm-people who had only one arm.

37, The Great Wasteland Mountain

In the great wilderness, there is a mountain called the Great Wasteland Mountain, where the sun and the moon set.

38, The Great Wilderness

There is a kind of man with a face on each of the three sides of his head, a descendant of Zhuan Xu, with three faces and one arm, and this kind of man with three faces never dies, and this place is called the Great Wilderness.

39, Xia Houkai

① Xia Houkai: Xia Qi, the founding monarch of the Xia Dynasty. It is written as Xia Hou Kai because it avoids the name of Liu Qi, Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty.

Beyond the Southwest Sea, on the southern shore of the Red Water, west of the Liu Sha, there was a man with two green snakes hanging from his ears, driving two dragons, named Xia Hou Kai. Xia Houkai was a guest of the Emperor of Heaven three times, and returned to earth after receiving the Emperor's musical compositions, the Nine Arguments and the Nine Songs. This is the so-called Tian Mu Ye, which is 2,000 feet high, where Xia Hou Kai began to play the Nine Strokes.

40, 氐di人国

There was a country of the Indians. The grandson of Yan Di was called Ling jia jia, Ling jia gave birth to the di-man, and the di-man could go up to heaven and enter the earth.

41, Fishwife

There was a fish with half of its body dried up called Fishwife, a fish that Zhuan Xu transformed into after he was resurrected from the dead. It was only when the wind blew from the north that many springs appeared under the sky, and the snakes were then transformed into fish, which is what Fishwife was. Zhuan Xu put his life in Fishwife's body and resurrected from the dead.

42, Parking Birds

① (chù) Bird: The name of a legendary bird.

There was a green-colored bird with a yellow body, red feet, and six heads, named chu-bird.

43, Great Wushan
