However, when the wall is opened, it is generally not recommended to open transverse joints, because this will easily affect the shear strength of the wall, especially some brick-concrete structures.

For example, as shown in the figure below, the large transverse groove has affected the stable structure of the wall, and even if it is filled with mortar later, the effect will not be too good.

At the same time, it is also a good practice that water and electricity are not slotted, which will not damage the structure of the house and save some wages. In addition, when laying floor tiles, the floor tiles will be leveled with soil, so don't worry about the ugly floor tiles.

Decoration suggestion: If it is really necessary to open transverse joints in hydropower decoration, it is suggested to avoid the bearing wall and control the length of transverse joints within 500mm.

In addition, once the hydropower transformation is completed, it will be very troublesome to make changes and maintenance. Therefore, it is suggested that the quality of the lines and pipelines purchased during decoration must pass the customs, and you must not save money in this respect.
