Are there any heroes engaged in mems sensors, what is the employment situation in this industry, and how does the salary rise?

I graduated from college for six years. I worked in the wafer factory for the first three years and in the MEMS wafer post-processing and packaging test factory for the last three years. Although I haven't done any design, I still know a lot about the semiconductor industry. Personally, I think MEMS design major is good, because the MEMS industry has just entered the stage of large-scale market application, especially in the field of consumer electronics. At present, the growth rate of MEMS market is much higher than that of IC, and from the situation at home and abroad, MEMS has become a hot topic. Including TSMC, UMC and SMIC, all major semiconductor factories regard MEMS as a major focus in the future and step up their industrial layout. In the second half of this year, especially in the fourth quarter, the MEMS market continued to grow steadily despite the serious decline in the semiconductor boom, and our company even achieved much better results than last year.

It should be noted that at present, domestic local companies are far behind foreign countries in MEMS research and development, and most of the research and development is concentrated in Chinese Academy of Sciences and a few top universities. Only MEMSIC Company in Wuxi is truly mass-produced, and MEMSIC is actually a semi-local company founded by returnees. I mean, there are very few local companies doing MEMS at present, and there are very few companies doing research and development. It seems impossible for European and American manufacturers to do MEMS research and development in China for a long time to come. That is to say, if you want to focus on MEMS research and development, it seems that you can only do it in universities. If you can do MEMS-related packaging testing and related wafer processing, or, like me, do a technical processing and information interface with European and American parent companies from design to domestic wafer processing and packaging application, there are still some opportunities. Especially in the current domestic labor market, there are very few technical talents related to MEMS. I haven't met anyone with MEMS design background in the circle I know, which is absolutely scarce. It is hoped that the industrial chain of MEMS design and manufacturing in China will develop as soon as possible in a few years.

People who really do a good job in MEMS, people who can design, and knowledgeable professionals are scarce and the treatment is absolutely good. Moreover, such talents generally have extensive knowledge accumulation, including materials, engineering, manufacturing, testing, application, process flow, IC and so on. , especially all kinds of related semiconductor knowledge. With the gradual accumulation, the knowledge they have learned can definitely be described as all-encompassing, involving materials and IC.

It's good to enter this industry. The key is that you are really interested in it. If not, I still think you'd better choose another major. Only those who are interested in focusing on MEMS technology can appreciate the fun and do it well. Many times, the development of MEMS is actually a process of continuous imagination, experiment and verification, which requires rich and extensive knowledge and strong hands-on ability, because there is no MEMS development and manufacturing.

Ask yourself if you are interested in MEMS, semiconductor engineering development, rich imagination, technical work and engineering innovation. If your answer is yes, then join this circle.
