The origin and development of octupole boxing;

The history of Bajiquan can be traced back to the late Ming Dynasty. Initially, the name of Bajiquan might be "Palladium Boxing", which was recorded in Ji Xiaoxin's Book by Qi Jiguang in Ming Dynasty. However, because learners regard it as a treasure and never pass it on to others, it has not been widely spread.

Because of the indecent name of Eight-character Boxing, those who studied at the end of Han Dynasty established the boxing theory under the guidance of octupole boxing theory according to the technical characteristics of boxing, and renamed it octupole boxing, which was the earliest boxing named after China's traditional philosophical theory at the end of Ming Dynasty.

In the Qing Dynasty, Ding Faxiang (16 15- 1694), a native of Mengcun, Hebei Province, abandoned literature and practiced martial arts, and gained the merit of octupole boxing. In order to improve his skills and skills, he hid in the earthen kiln for three years, and his skills have greatly improved and multiplied.
