How to knit a scarf

How to start the needle for knitting a scarf is as follows:

The wool is put on directly by hand, and after starting the needle it is fairly knitted in a row of flat stitches. Start with a live knot, then slip the live knot over the needle and pull it tight. Pull the wool over the index finger and thumb as shown. Then reverse your hand, palm down, and put the loop of thread over the needle and pull it tight, i.e., start a good stitch.
