Teacher candidates: what are the six structured modules of the interview
Answering structured questions requires knowledge of educational and teaching theory. We summarize the six aspects of the structured teacher interview for your reference.
Self-recognition
Self-recognition questions are mainly about what you know about yourself. For example, your personality, strengths and weaknesses, experiences, motto, etc.
When this type of question arises, you should be careful to try to relate it to the teaching profession when answering on the content of the question. For example, if you are asked about your personality and you say that you are introverted, then you should say that this personality is stable, patient, and likes to reflect, which is good for teachers to continue to grow.
Interpersonal communication
The interpersonal communication category mainly includes communication with leaders, colleagues, parents and students.
Three types of communication general answer ideas: for the communication with the leadership, to answer the leadership of the decision-making are sure to have the right reasons, if there is a communication misunderstanding, but also because they do not understand the full picture; and colleagues can be wrong, but must be modest and colleagues to resolve; parents' requirements must be resolved; students are sure to care.
Organization and management
New teachers usually have to be a classroom teacher, and the work of the classroom teacher is very trivial, to organize and manage the class and students. So the topic will be organizing a parent-teacher conference or organizing an event for everyone to get to know each other and so on.
Emergency response
The teaching environment is complex, and the students the teacher faces are complex, so the teacher has to face a lot of emergencies, which requires the teacher to have the ability to respond to emergencies. For example, organizing an out-of-school activity in which a student suddenly faints or a student sleeps during your class, what would you do?
Comprehensive Analysis + Education and Teaching
The Comprehensive Analysis module is similar to the Education and Teaching module in that it is a direct application of education theory. For example, what do you think of the current phenomenon of "pre-school education"? What do you think of the students in your class? And so on. Super-previous education is a typical violation of the law of physical and mental development of students in order, which is directly linked to the knowledge of education.
