Yes Tiantan Park is located in Donglijia of Tiantan, Dongcheng District, Beijing. The fitness area inside is near the east gate. Tiantan Park covers an area of about 276 hectares. Founded in the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420), it was a place for worshipping emperors and praying for a bumper harvest in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The inner altar is divided into north and south parts by a wall. In the north is the "Valley Prayer", which is used to pray for a bumper harvest in spring, and the central building is the Hall of Prayer for the New Year. In the south, it is the "Waqiu altar", which is used to worship heaven on the solstice in winter. The central building is a huge circular stone platform named "Waqiu".
