What are the two types of longhouse residential buildings?

In Japanese, it is called "longhouse building", which has a long and narrow appearance and is mostly a one-story or two-story building with wooden structure. It is built by the owner himself and rented out to others for living.

Japanese folk houses are mainly divided into three types, namely, traditional houses, apartment houses and apartment houses for the elderly.

(1) Traditional dwellings, the so-called "single-family" dwellings. Its main building material is wood, and it consists of "earth house", "intermediate room", "bedroom", "bed room", "connecting room" and "bathroom".

(2) Apartment-style residence, which is called "* * * with residence" in Japanese. Most of them are reinforced concrete structures, and the internal structure is similar to that of apartments in China.

(3) Old-style apartment houses are called "longhouse buildings" in Japanese. Its appearance is long and narrow, mostly one-story or two-story buildings with wooden structure, mainly used for renting.
