What's the difference between stocks and options?
Option refers to a contract that gives the holder the right to buy or sell assets at a fixed price on or before a certain date. Equity refers to the right of stock holders to obtain economic benefits from the company and participate in the management of the company. Option is a right that can only be enjoyed when the contract expires, while equity is a right that can be enjoyed immediately.
