Facing severe challenges and winning development opportunities are the common concerns of the global media.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Mr. Li Congjun, President of Xinhua News Agency, held talks with heads of media such as News Corporation, Associated Press, Reuters, *** News, and the British Broadcasting Corporation to discuss how the media should respond to the challenges of the digital multimedia era.
As well as strengthening exchanges and candidly exchanging views on issues such as win-win cooperation.
Everyone agreed that it is necessary to hold a World Media Summit to build an effective platform for global media to communicate and brainstorm, collide ideas and wisdom, discuss survival and development, and discuss cooperation and the future.
