How does women's formal wear refer to dress?
Women's formal wear refers to suit overskirts, jackets or unshaped tops, and dresses or two-piece suits. Within each of these three types, it is important to consider their colors and fabrics. And suit overskirts are the standard professional attire for women and can project a powerful image.
There are three basic types of professional women's clothing
Single-breasted tops can be left unbuttoned, while double-breasted ones should be fastened all the way around (including the inside buttons). Wearing a single-color sheath dress can make the figure appear thinner and taller. There are two kinds of sheath dresses: matching ones, whose tops and skirts are of the same color and material; and non-matching ones, whose tops and skirts differ.
Color selection: the best colors for professional dresses are black, navy, taupe, gray and dark red. Delicate chevrons, prints and stripes are also acceptable. Be careful about buying two-piece suits in red, yellow or lavender, as their colors are too eye-catching.
