Architectural Characteristics of Beijing Courtyard

Beijing courtyard is commonly three courtyards, the forecourt is shallow, mainly inverted seat, mainly used as a concierge, guest rooms, living room; the gate in the inverted seat to the east, the southeast corner of the house, near the gate of a more used for the concierge or the manservant to live in, the gate to the east of the courtyard for the school; inverted seat west of the courtyard with a toilet.
