Reflections on the new model of traditional education and modern education under the new curriculum reform

Paper Keywords: lack of teaching evaluation, quality education, exam-oriented education

Based on the interaction between traditional education and new curriculum standards since the implementation of new curriculum reform in China's education, this paper reflects on China's current education and puts forward some suggestions.

The experiment of curriculum reform in basic education seems unstoppable. If you refuse the curriculum reform, you will be eliminated; If you adapt passively, you will fall behind. Under the new curriculum, students' learning style is changing to? Autonomy, cooperation and exploration? Change, teachers are becoming students' learning? Mentor, collaborator, facilitator? , become? A leader in equality? And the strategy of teaching and research work needs to be adjusted accordingly, focusing on? Top down? Where to? Bottom up? Transfer. With the deepening of the new curriculum reform, people's educational concept is undergoing positive changes. However, the strong pressure of exam-oriented education and the habitual way of thinking of schools and parents are not so easy to change. Under the unique traditional background of our country, there are some contradictions between the new education model and the traditional education model, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

First, in practice, quality education and exam-oriented education go hand in hand.

Under the new curriculum concept, students are the main body of learning activities, and only in this way can they truly become the masters of learning. In traditional teaching, students lack active participation and self-awareness and passively accept; Teachers, teaching materials and classrooms suppress and constrain students' creativity. So there is such a contradiction: the class time is only 45 minutes. How can we fully mobilize students' enthusiasm in a limited time and achieve the expected teaching effect? If students do not have a certain knowledge reserve, it is difficult to have high enthusiasm for learning literature and history courses. If teachers don't participate in the guidance too much at this time, it is impossible to complete the scheduled teaching content within the scheduled time. Due to the influence of the concept of exam-oriented education, teachers have to choose to guide teaching all the time. This phenomenon is quite common in the western region where hardware facilities are relatively backward. So we can't solve this problem, and our education reform can only take new shoes for the old road. Therefore, while developing teaching and research groups to study teaching theories, learn from each other, cooperate with each other, support each other, learn from each other's strengths, and share resources, schools should also increase investment in education among the corresponding student groups. For example, psychological counseling for middle school students can help them get rid of their bad attitudes towards life and study and have a healthy interest in learning. When students are interested in learning, learning activities are not a burden to him, but a kind of enjoyment and a pleasant experience. The more students learn, the more they want to learn, the more they love learning and the more interested they are. Study with half the effort. At the same time, add corresponding teaching AIDS and facilities, such as books, video materials, multimedia materials, etc. Broaden our horizons and help us absorb textbook knowledge.

Second, the reform of examination system and teaching evaluation is seriously lagging behind.

The new curriculum standard puts more emphasis on students' subjective role, changes the old classroom model, and explores the spirit that is conducive to students' subjective role and active participation. At the same time, the corresponding evaluation mechanism in China has not been reformed simultaneously. This phenomenon directly leads to the lack of classroom evaluation, which is reflected in the generalization of praise in our teaching process, the boundary between good and bad is blurred, and teachers rarely evaluate or do not evaluate in class to encourage students' enthusiasm. What's that noise? One of the practical results is the lack of teachers' role. This is not conducive to students to establish a healthy outlook on life, and it is easy for them to develop arrogance and dryness, thus lacking the necessary ability to resist setbacks. Therefore, without an intuitive standard to measure students' comprehensive ability, parents and schools will inevitably follow the old standard? Scores? To show that you are superior to others. The direct consequence of this phenomenon is that comprehensive courses are relatively neglected, pursuing scores and entering science and art courses? Cold palace? This also violates the new curriculum standard? Conform to the trend of interdisciplinary integration and establish interdisciplinary links? This original intention.

Due to the above prominent contradictions, teachers. Teaching-oriented, wandering in the torrent of new curriculum reform, even timid, I don't know what to do, so their confusion also arises:

(a) students must be allowed to study independently, and they must never be included? Full house irrigation? 、? A word? . In this way, the teacher hardly explains a lesson, and students' self-study, self-reading and self-training have become the main line of the classroom. After class, the reviewers have different opinions. Some people say that this is the way of attending classes now, and that is how students' self-study ability is cultivated. Some people say that students can learn knowledge in such courses? It's incredible. The whole class is at a loss, and so is the audience.

(2)? All for the development of every student? Is it the core idea of the new curriculum reform? People-oriented, student-oriented? It has become the value orientation of education, and the student subject has been highlighted. Students' bad behavior is tolerated and teachers dare not intervene? Corporal punishment in disguise? The lack of teachers' role is particularly obvious in this respect.

(3) There is a single evaluation method to measure the level of running a school and teachers' ability, and its root should point to the baton of college entrance examination. In the process of implementing the new curriculum reform, teachers can't and have to take the exam-oriented education to reduce the burden on students, but often? At your own risk? ; In fact, teachers have not jumped out of the old evaluation model, and they feel forced by their grades, which will naturally put pressure on students.

(4) Teachers are the main executors of educational reform, and the evaluation of the reform effect is naturally inseparable from teachers' participation. It is precisely because of some intractable contradictions in the implementation process and the huge pressure of public opinion that teachers dare not stand up and take risks and boldly try new things, so they have to take a wait-and-see attitude, and I will do what others do, fearing that once the educational reform fails, they will be responsible and bear the blame. In the end, all teaching ideas may be single, not to mention innovation.

To sum up, I think there are some puzzles in the process of education reform, which is understandable. However, the sweeping new curriculum reform has not stopped because of teachers' confusion or temporary adversity. We must face up to these problems and find ways to deal with them properly.

First, teachers should proceed from reality, scientifically set teaching objectives, adjust teaching strategies according to the concept of new curriculum standards, let more students participate in teaching activities with high quality, evaluate students more scientifically and reasonably, and highlight students' dominant position and teachers' leading role. Promote students' all-round development, that is, students have innovative ability, practical ability, scientific quality and humanistic quality, and have basic knowledge, basic skills and basic methods to adapt to lifelong learning. While students' personalities are fully displayed, we also strive to innovate teachers' own teaching styles, closely combine the innovation of forms with the improvement of efficiency, and strive to create harmony. Emotion, interaction and innovation? A new classroom teaching mode.

Two, establish and improve the comprehensive evaluation system and reward system of teachers' work quality, and give play to the incentive and promotion role of the evaluation and reward mechanism. Overcome? The negative role of exam-oriented education in evaluation and reward. We can't take test scores as the goal of evaluating teachers, the only criterion for evaluating teachers' work quality, and the only basis for rewarding teachers. The basis of the reward system is evaluation. All our praise and rewards are based on evaluation. Scientific evaluation and reward mechanism must have the function of guidance and encouragement. It can stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of teachers to the greatest extent. In short, we should act at all levels, innovate in inheritance and make breakthroughs in inheritance. Break the existing shackles, adhere to quality education and serve the country's construction.
