What is dialectics? What's the difference with metaphysics?

Materialist dialectics looks at the world from a universal point of view, while metaphysics looks at the world from an isolated point of view.

Materialist dialectics looks at the world from the viewpoint of development and change, while metaphysics looks at the world from a static point of view.

Materialist dialectics holds that contradiction is universal, and contradiction is the driving force and source of the development of things; Metaphysics, on the other hand, denies the internal contradictions of things and attributes the changes of things to the promotion of external forces.

What is dialectics?

Dialectics is also called dialectical method. Dialectics in Greek period is similar to debate, which means that two or more people hold different views and hope to gain real knowledge through reasonable discussion.

But this debate excludes subjective factors (such as emotional appeal and modern derogatory rhetoric).

What is metaphysics? Metaphysics, a category of primitive philosophy, refers to the speculation of the nature of the world when it cannot be proved by empirical evidence.

It was first constructed by Aristotle and called "the first philosophy" and "the first science".

The main problems of metaphysics include: what is the origin of the world, whether the soul exists, free will, causality and so on.
