Shandong local opera

1. Lu Opera, also known as makeup dulcimer, piano opera and mystery opera, is one of the eight major operas in China and the most representative local opera in Shandong. It was formed in Guangrao and Boxing areas of Shandong Province, and distributed in most areas of Shandong Province, mainly in northern Shandong. In addition, Lu Opera is also distributed in North Jiangsu and Northeast China.

Laiwu Bangzi is popular in Laiwu, Taian and Fei. Central Shandong, such as Cheng and Zhangqiu, is also called "Laiwu". Laiwu Bangzi includes two kinds of sound cavities: Bangzi and Fine Tune. After the middle of Qing Dynasty, Huiban flowed into Tai 'an area. Subsequently, Bangzi opera also flowed to Wenshang, gradually merged with Huizhou tune and sang on the same stage. After that, the combination of Bangzi and local voice made considerable development and began to occupy a dominant position. Therefore, the play is called "Laiwu Bangzi"

3. Wuyin Opera is a local traditional drama in Jinan, Zibo and its surrounding areas in central Shandong Province.

4. Qiang Mao is a local opera in gaomi city and jiaozhou city, which is popular in Weifang, Qingdao and Rizhao.

5. Liu Qiang, a local traditional drama in Jimo and Pingdu, Shandong Province, was introduced to Jimo, and then merged with local folk tunes and yangko to form Liu Qiang, which was mainly spread in Jimo area, and later became popular in Jiaodong area and introduced to Qingdao.
