What's the difference between private banks and state-owned banks?
No, state-owned commercial banks only include industry, agriculture, China and construction. The main difference is that investors are different. Most of the shares of state-owned commercial banks are funded by the state, which is larger than private banks in scale. Private banks are mainly funded by the private sector. There is no big difference in other things, and the basic functions are similar.
However, there is another kind of state-owned banks, such as China Development Bank, Agricultural Development Bank and National Export-Import Bank, whose functions and business are irreplaceable by private banks.
