How to wire the ballast

1. First, connect the two ends of the lamp, and connect the live wire (red wire) of the power plug to a terminal of the ballast.

2. Connect a wire at the A end of the lamp tube (we notice that the two ends of the lamp tube are the A end and the B end respectively) to the other terminal of the ballast.

3. Connect another line at the A end and one line at the B end to the two ends of the upconverter respectively.

4. Connect the other wire at the B end to the zero line (blue line) of the plug, and stick it with insulating tape.

5. At this point, the wiring is completed. When the plug is connected to the power supply and the switch light is turned on, it will light up.

Extended data:

Electronic ballast is a converter that converts power frequency AC power supply into high frequency AC power supply. Its basic working principle is as follows:

Power frequency power supply becomes DC power supply after RF interference (RFI) filter, full-wave rectification and passive (or active) power factor corrector (PPFC or APFC). A high-frequency AC power supply of 20K- 100KHZ is output by a DC/ AC converter, which is added to an LC series resonant circuit connected with the lamp to heat the filament, but the lamp tube is "discharged" into a "conducting" state, and then enters a luminous state. At this time, the high-frequency inductance plays a role in limiting the increase of current, ensuring that the lamp tube can obtain the lamp voltage and lamp current required for normal operation. In order to improve the reliability, various protection circuits such as abnormal protection are often added.
