What's the difference between ancient shoes and modern shoes (in color, shape and color)

As far as I know, there should be many kinds in ancient times.

1. Leather boots are generally worn by officers;

2. Wooden base cloth, just like what you wear on the stage, is likely to be dress shoes;

3. Cloth shoes are casual shoes worn at home;

But the shoes with wooden soles are inconvenient to work. Most people have to wear straw sandals, Ma Xie, or what we now know as thousand-layer shoes; Wear clogs for cloth shoes in rainy and snowy days.
