What is supply chain logistics?
Supply chain management includes all planning and management activities and all logistics management activities involving procurement, outsourcing and conversion. More importantly, it also includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, involving suppliers, middlemen, third-party service providers and customers.
Supply chain management is essentially the integration of supply and demand management within and between enterprises.
Logistics management is only a part of supply chain management!
