What's the difference between coated paper, PP and PVC?

First of all, these three uses are different:

1. Use of coated paper: widely used for printing pictorial, advertisement, landscape painting, exquisite calendars, portraits, etc.

2. Uses of 2.PP material: mainly used as parts of automobiles and electrical appliances, various containers, furniture, packaging materials and medical devices.

3. Use of 3.PVC material: It can be used to make anticorrosive pipes, pipe fittings, oil pipelines, centrifugal pumps and blowers. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hard board is widely used in the chemical industry to make the lining of various storage tanks, corrugated board of buildings, door and window structures, wall decoration and other building materials. Because of its excellent electrical insulation performance, it can be used to manufacture plugs, sockets, switches and cables in electrical and electronic industries.

Second, the characteristics of the three are different:

1, characteristics of coated paper: coated paper is characterized by very smooth paper, high smoothness and good gloss. The smoothness of coated paper is generally 600 ~ 1000 s because the whiteness of the coating used is above 90%, the particles are extremely fine, and it is calendered by a super calender.

At the same time, the pigment is evenly distributed on the paper, showing a pleasant white color. The requirements for coated paper are high coating strength, thin and uniform coating, no bubbles, and proper amount of adhesive in the coating to prevent the paper from losing powder and hair during printing. In addition, the coated paper should have an appropriate xylene absorption, which can be suitable for fine screen printing above 60 lines /cm.

2. The characteristics of 2.PP material: thermoplasticity, light specific gravity and chemical corrosion resistance.

3.PVC material characteristics: PVC is completely non-toxic and tasteless, and has no irritation to human skin or respiratory system. For people who are allergic to wood and paint, furniture or kitchenware packed with PVC film is very suitable.

By using PVC film as decorative film, people can avoid using a large number of medium density fiberboard, particleboard, plywood and fiberboard, reduce the use of wood, and thus reduce the damage to forests and even the environment.

Third, the raw materials are different:

1. Coated paper Raw material: Coated paper is also called printed coated paper. The surface of the base paper is coated with a layer of white paint, and the base paper is made of super calendering. It is divided into single-sided paper and double-sided paper, and the paper surface is divided into light splitting and cloth grain.

2. Raw material of 2.PP material: Polypropylene is a polymer formed by addition polymerization of propylene.

3.PVC material raw materials: PVC material is PVC, and PVC resin is white or light yellow powder, which cannot be used alone and must be modified.
