Measures for the evaluation of academic titles of Tibetan Buddhism (for Trial Implementation)
The daily work of the Steering Committee for Academic Titles of Tibetan Buddhism is the responsibility of the Advanced Buddhist College of Tibetan Language Department of China. Article 5 The State Bureau of Religious Affairs and the religious affairs departments of the people's governments of provinces and autonomous regions shall supervise and guide the awarding of academic titles of Tibetan Buddhism. Chapter II Grades of Academic Titles and Establishment of Evaluation Institutions Article 6 Academic Titles of Tibetan Buddhism are divided into three grades: Zen Ranba, Zhiranba and Tuoranba. Article 7 The academic titles of Zen Ranba and Zhiranba are awarded by Tibetan Buddhist colleges organized by Buddhist organizations in provinces and autonomous regions. Tuoba GUI was awarded the title by the Advanced Buddhist College of Tibetan Language Department of China.
The Senior Buddhist College of Tibetan Language Department of China can set up intermediate academic title classes according to needs and award Zhiranba academic titles. Article 8 Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities shall set up an academic title evaluation committee to be responsible for the evaluation and award of academic titles. Article 9 The members of the evaluation committee for academic titles of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities shall be examined and approved by the Buddhist organizations in the provinces and autonomous regions where they are located, and reported to the religious affairs departments of the people's governments of provinces and autonomous regions and the steering committee for academic titles of Tibetan Buddhism for the record.
Members of the Academic Title Evaluation Committee of the Senior Buddhist College of the Tibetan Department of China, after being examined and approved by the Chinese Buddhist Association, reported to the State Bureau of Religious Affairs for the record.
Members of the academic title evaluation committee of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities shall be awarded letters of appointment by the principals of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities. Article 10 The professional title evaluation committee of Tibetan Buddhist colleges may set up a professional title application qualification evaluation committee, a debate competition evaluation committee and a thesis defense committee according to needs, and perform the following duties:
(a) review the relevant information of the applicant for academic titles, including political and ideological performance, religious integrity, proof of academic ability, course examination and debate examination, thesis defense materials, etc. ;
(two) the organization of the title of the applicant's debate examination;
(three) the organization of academic title applicants' thesis review and defense. Chapter III Conditions for Applying for Professional Titles Article 11 Applicants for professional titles shall safeguard national unity, oppose ethnic division, love their country and religion, and abide by the law; Strictly observe the precepts and believe in the right path; Have the corresponding theoretical knowledge of Buddhism and the ability to interpret scriptures, complete the study and practice of teaching plan or corresponding courses, meet the application conditions of corresponding academic titles, and pass the grades. Article 12 To apply for the academic title of Zen Ranba, the following conditions shall be met:
(a) have a good grasp of Yi Ming's theory, Prajna's theory, Zhengsolemn theory, entering middle school theory and giving up all theories;
(two) the ability to engage in Buddhist research;
(three) have the basic ability to engage in Buddhist education activities. Article 13 To apply for the academic title of Zhiranba, the following conditions shall be met:
(1) Systematically master the theory of quantity in Prajna Sutra, the theory of solemnity in the present view, the theory of entering the middle, the theory of giving up everything, and the theory of discipline, and have deep attainments in the corresponding research fields;
(2) Having the ability to engage in Buddhist research;
(3) Having the ability to engage in Buddhist educational activities;
(four) to be able to communicate and read simply in the national common language. Article 14 To apply for Tuoba's academic title, the following conditions shall be met:
(1) Systematically and deeply master the quantitative theory of Inming Studies, the solemn theory of Prajnaparamita Studies, the theory of giving up everything, and the theory of discipline, and make outstanding achievements in the corresponding research fields;
(2) Having the ability to independently engage in Buddhist research;
(three) have a strong ability to engage in Buddhist education activities;
(four) to be able to use the national common language for communication and reading. Fifteenth any of the following circumstances, do not have the qualification to apply for academic titles:
(a) there are serious mistakes in moral quality and law-abiding;
(two) cheating in the course exam, if the circumstances are serious;
(3) The paper plagiarizes the academic achievements of others, and the circumstances are serious;
(four) during the period of school, he was detained for observation and punishment. Chapter IV Application for Academic Titles and Granting of Academic Titles Article 16 Applicants for academic titles shall submit the Application Form for Academic Titles of Tibetan Buddhism to Tibetan Buddhist Colleges and Universities. Article 17 Graduates of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities who meet the requirements stipulated in Article 12 of these Measures and students who have reached the same academic level in temple science may apply for the Zen academic title to Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities in the province or autonomous region where the temple is located.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of these measures, graduates of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and students who have reached the same academic level in temples can apply for the academic title of Zhiranba to Tibetan Buddhist colleges and universities in the provinces and autonomous regions where the temples are located.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of these measures, graduates of Tibetan Buddhist colleges and students who have reached the same academic level in temple studies may apply to the Advanced Buddhist College of Tibetan Language Department of China for Tuoba GUI academic title.
