Emblem of the Tambov Region

The first logo in the history of the Tambov province was approved in 1878. 125 years later it became the basis for the design of the modern logo of the Tambov Oblast. The second official logo of Tambovians was approved by the State Duma at its regular meeting on March 27, and it was approved by the Presidential Commission on Emblems. Since then Tambovians have not only a state song, but also a state emblem.

The logo of the Tambov Oblast consists of a silver and white beehive and three bees on a red background, with the regional tiara at the upper end of the shield-shaped emblem, and the emblem encircling the ribbon of the Order of Lenin. Unlike Tambov's historic logo, the oak leaf is absent from the modern logo and the regional pointed tiara replaces the rounded crown.

Each element and color of the logo has a special meaning. The bee represents hard work, caution and collectivism. The beehive is the *** same home, where everyone is clear about their place and responsibilities. Blue represents environmental cleanliness, honesty, loyalty and innocence. The color silver represents nobility, justice and greatness. The traditional regional tiara indicates that this is the Tambov Oblast, one of the subjects of the Russian Federation, and the ribbons of the Order of Lenin indicate that Tambovians have been awarded by the state:

The flag of the Tambov Oblast is a rectangular flag, red and blue on the left and right. In the center is the complete logo of the Tambov oblast. The ratio of the flag's length to width is 3 to 2. The width of the shield is one-sixth of the flag's length.

The coat of arms of the city of Tambov is a shield-shaped logo with a beehive and bees. The bees are arranged in an arc over the beehive. The lower quarter of the shield is green, representing the earth. The base color of the logo is blue, and the outline of the beehive, bees and shield is gold.

The municipal flag of Tambov is a rectangular flag with a blue top and a green earth below. In the center is the Tambov city coat of arms. The width of the green part is one third of the width of the flag. The width of the main figure of the emblem is one quarter of the length of the flag and the height is one third of the width of the flag.
