Why is Guiyang called fortification?
Guiyang, also known as Lincheng and Zhucheng, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital and I-type big city under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province, one of the important central cities in southwest China, an important regional innovation center in China and an important ecological leisure and holiday tourist city.
Guiyang is located in the middle of the hilly region in central Guizhou, bordering Weng 'an, Longli, Huishui and Changshun counties in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the southeast, Pingba District in Anshun City and zhijin county in Bijie City in the west, and Bozhou District in Bijie City in the north, with a total area of 8,034 square kilometers and a subtropical humid and mild climate.
Guiyang tourist attractions:
1. Qingyan Ancient Town.
Qingyan ancient town is considered as the most important and youngest scenic spot in 5A, and it was promoted to 5A on 20 17. This is an ancient town with a long history, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. At that time, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered troops to be stationed in many places in Guizhou. These soldiers come from the Han nationality in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Now hundreds of years have passed, and there are not many well-preserved bunkers in Guizhou. Qingyan ancient town is outstanding.
2. Tianhetan.
Tianhetan Scenic Area is a national 4A scenic spot, which is a natural landscape integrating karst caves, leisure and summer vacation.
There are water caves and dry caves, which are developed earlier and have a larger area, especially water caves, which need to cross the lake by boat. The water tunnel is so narrow that only one boat can pass through it. The water tunnel is divided into three themes, with a total length of about1200m and a width of more than 80m. There are karst landscapes such as stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars in the cave.
3. Huaxi Park.
Huaxi District, as the most potential tourist area in Guiyang, has built Shili River Beach Wetland Park in recent years, attracting many tourists. This is a minority scenic spot, because it is 20 kilometers away from Guiyang city, so many tourists who travel for a few days will not go. If you have time, you can definitely visit here.
