Is docking and intermediary a concept?

"Butt seam" and intermediary are not exactly the same concept. Intermediary refers to an institution or individual that provides information, matches and promotes transaction services for buyers and sellers in market economy activities. Through their professional knowledge and skills, they help buyers and sellers to establish contact and get commissions or rewards from them. And "seam" is a figurative usage, which refers to the behavior of some people using their own relationships, resources and means to bridge the gap and seek personal gain. Although intermediaries may also use their own relationships to bridge the gap, this does not mean that all intermediaries belong to the category of "matchmaking". At the same time, "matchmaking" usually has a negative meaning, suggesting that some people seek personal gain through improper means, while intermediaries are legal and compliant market economic entities, and the services they provide also have good social value. Therefore, although the two may sometimes overlap, they are not exactly the same concept.
