When the minister in charge heard that Wang Zhaojun was willing to go, he quickly reported to Emperor Han Yuan. Emperor Han Yuan asked his ministers to choose an auspicious day, so that Huhanye and Zhaojun could be related in Chang 'an. Hu was happy and excited to see Wang Zhaojun. Wang Zhaojun left Chang 'an under the escort of Han and Xiongnu officials. She braved the biting cold wind beyond the Great Wall and came all the way to Xiongnu area to be Uhaanyehe's wife.
