How to make a red lantern?

First of all, the main materials needed to prepare our homemade red lanterns are cardboard, ruler, double-sided tape, pencil and paper cutter.

Step 1: Measure the red cardboard with a ruler and draw a rough outline with a pencil.

Step 2: Leave 1.0cm on both sides of the cardboard, and then draw several speaker shapes with a width of 0.05 cm equally. Then cut the horizontal line with a paper cutter.

Step 4: Stick the interface with double-sided tape. As shown in the figure below.

Step 5: Roll up the glued red lantern so that the rectangular cardboard cut in the middle is curved.

Step 6: Stand the red lantern upright and press it down slowly by hand to make the radian formed by the rectangular cardboard in the middle bigger.

Step 7: Does the red lantern look like a real lantern at this time? I think so, too. Cut the scraps into strips to make ears, and then stick a suitable rope to hang them. It feels so cute. A red lantern made of cardboard will do.

Note: Pay attention to the service life of the glue, so as not to screw the glue badly and make the paper hard and unable to be reused.
