What are the templates for graduation thesis defense statement?

I successfully passed the online defense on April 25th, 2020. The following is a template of my defense statement to share with you.

Good morning, dear teachers and classmates:

My name is …, and my thesis is …, which was completed under the guidance of Professor xxx. Here, I am very grateful to a teacher for his long-term careful guidance, and also thank all the reviewing teachers for taking time out of their busy schedules to participate in the review and defense of the paper. Below, I will make the following brief statement to the defense teachers on the basic idea of the paper:

First, the purpose and significance of the topic.

It is in your opening report. You can intercept some. )

Second, the content and framework of the paper

This paper is based on (refer to the abstract of your paper)

Specifically, my thesis is divided into the following three parts:

The first part is the introduction. The first part is the introduction, which mainly outlines the research background, significance, main contents and direction.

The second part is the text, including several parts (just briefly explain the contents of each part)

The third part is the conclusion, the content of the conclusion.

Thirdly, the innovation of the paper.

This is the essence of the paper, but most of the papers are still not innovative (just look at your own papers, anyway, I am not innovative, I am also clever _), so just write down what you think is innovative here. When the teacher asks questions, you can say that you are not innovative enough, and you will discuss and improve with your tutor when you go back. (avoid the heavy and be light)

Four. Concluding remarks

This paper has been completed, and there are still many places that need to be improved comprehensively, but on the whole, in the process of writing, I really learned a lot, accumulated a lot of experience and further enriched my knowledge. However, due to the lack of personal ability and limited time and energy, there are shortcomings in many content expressions and arguments, which is still far from the expectations of teachers. Many problems need further thinking and exploration. I hope that all teachers will give me valuable opinions and point out my mistakes and shortcomings, and I will accept them with an open mind in order to further study and improve the paper.
