The ancient and quiet Fenghuang ancient city has become the "spokesperson" of Xiangxi for thousands of years in the hearts of people who are not too noisy in the floating world. How many people set foot on this land in a hurry, and then left in a hurry after watching the night scene with emotion. And those truly silent ancient towns, because of the lack of tourists' lingering, the lack of numerous feasts in riverside bars, are wrapped in heavy history and culture, reflecting an endless stream of phoenixes, which are silent and more and more silent in the cycle of years.

I didn't make any advance planning when I went to furong town.

I went to the ancient town to chat with my friends the day before. Among the four ancient towns in Xiangxi, the name of Longshan Liye is beautiful, and the location of the anti-Japanese drama "Bloody Xiangxi" is a good gimmick to attract tourists. How many people were attracted to the border town of Chadong, looking for the white pagoda, stone mill and boatman's tomb according to the impression in Shen Lao's book, boarding the diaojiao building, and recalling the touching Cui Cui girl in the book, while friends were in Puzhen since childhood.

"I like furong town best." Her eyebrows are curved and her smile is clear and moving, which is very beautiful.

This is a thousand-year-old town hanging on a waterfall.

1986, director Xie Jin filmed furong town in Wangcun, and the role of Sister Hu played by Liu Xiaoqing was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. This ancient city also entered the public view for the first time.

In 2007, in order to promote the local tourism culture, Wangcun was renamed "furong town", a fictional place name that originally existed only in Gu Hua's novels, and was transformed into one of the four ancient towns in western Hunan.

Furong town is not big. Two hours of sightseeing is enough. Some scholars once said: If Wuzhen is a beautiful, pure and moving family in Zhong Ling, and Phoenix is a noble and elegant family, then Furong is the apple of the eye of the previous dynasty. The quietness and serenity she exudes, the historical culture and ethnic customs carried by mountains and rivers make this ancient and mysterious land full of charm.

It was five o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived.

In winter, the days are short, the weather is light and rainy, and the smog gathers over the ancient town. In the distance, hazy ancient buildings are looming. The toast farewell inn is booked online, and the proprietress is already waiting at the gate of the scenic spot. She took our luggage enthusiastically and joked from time to time.

The first time I saw Toast Square, the emptiness was my first impression of it. At the end of the square is a stage with three flower drums on it. Several folk artists are beating drums and dancing to the music. Some tourists stopped to take pictures, and the drums kept beating. The empty square reflects the former glory of the stage. ...

On the right side of the square along the steps is the Tuwang Temple. In winter, the pilgrims in front of the door are bustling, and the red wishing belt is swaying in the wind. It seems that pilgrims who have always been to this ancient temple whisper about their past in the storm. Buddha said: "Sincerity is the spirit, but only a few people don't go with the flow, don't make incense money, but really make a wish."

After crossing the Tuwang Bridge, we arrived at the farewell toast. It was cold, and the proprietress quickly told us to sit by the fire. She skillfully washed the teacups and filled them for us. The hotel we booked was really good. You can stay for a long time just by enjoying the cultural relics in the inn. The ornaments and cultural relics placed here are completely different from those in the Phoenix, revealing the king's spirit of the Tusi dynasty. The reservation is Linjiang Pavilion, and the layout of the room and friends are very satisfied. Warm yellow lights and wood were used.

It was getting dark, and with the hazy night, we set off with our cameras on our shoulders. In the night, there is no bright moon and stars in furong town, and the lights of ancient buildings with uniform colors flicker in the night. Compared with Phoenix, the night scene is a little worse, but due to the lack of various bars and houses built by the river, there are many traces of commercial development, but it sets off its unique beauty and hangs over the waterfall like a hermit.

The old streets in furong town are a little cold at night, which may be due to the weather. There are not many businesses at night, and tourists come in twos and threes. Gu Xiang, a bluestone soaked by rain, has a faint glow, and then passes through the quiet old street corridor to reach the best viewing place, which is the magnificent appearance of furong town Waterfall.

The earth shook like thunder and snowflakes fell out of thin air.

The milky way is vast, and thousands of pearls fly everywhere.

It is the second-to-none natural beauty in furong town and the largest and most spectacular waterfall in western Hunan. The waterfall passes through the town, and there is a hole in the sky. The flying silver chain flickered in the light and hit the river, causing ripples. There are paths behind the waterfall and natural caves, which remind me of water curtain cave in the Journey to the West. My friends and I were very excited and had a good time under the waterfall. The river occasionally splashes on the skin, which is cold and cold.

After studying the route carefully, we crossed the waterfall and walked from the foot of the mountain to the top. The night is deep, and the drizzle in winter is silent, but the ancient town seems to be getting colder and colder. Without the cicada singing in summer night, the breeze blows and the coolness sweeps the whole body, which is really the best synonym for the night in this town.

It's almost eleven o'clock when I get back to the inn, and I'm hungry. Fortunately, there is a special restaurant opposite the inn. We are cold all over. My friend just wanted to come to a pot of hot pot to warm himself up and ordered a special preserved pig's feet. Maybe I'm really hungry. After a while, a pot of kung fu was destroyed, leaving the last few dishes. My friend is under the banner of not wasting. You and I have come together, and so has my friend. ...

the next day

Getting up early in winter really tests people's patience. After we got up slowly, it was past ten o'clock, and the weather turned cloudy and rainy.

Maybe it was raining at night, and the fog was too heavy to disperse completely. Looking around, the whole ancient town seems to be shrouded in drizzle, emitting the smell of "misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River". The stone street washed by rain is shining with hazy white light, standing at the commanding heights of the scenic spot, with a panoramic view.

Continuing down, the charming scenery along the river is refreshing, the wind blows and the river is sparkling. It is not as prosperous as Tuojiang River, without awning boats and melodious songs, but its unique tranquility is not found in other places.

Flowers and drums came from the sightseeing pavilion on the other side. The rhythm is soft and impatient. We followed the sound. Two elderly people who are over 60 years old and dressed in traditional Tujia costumes are sitting here. One drummed to the music, and the other smoked an old pipe. And the surrounding scenery is a bit abrupt, but very quiet. Friends came forward to say hello to the old man in high spirits. The old man responded in broken Mandarin. His face

Fishermen rowing boats on the river broke into the camera, and the river was so quiet that the boatman felt its flow as if it were rippling in his palm.

Against the background of the surrounding scenery, the fisherman is more like walking out of the painting.

Go to the sightseeing pavilion, arrive at Chaiyangmen, and press Chaiyangmen to enter. This is the palace of the local king. This is the place where the rich local king chose to build the summer resort. The layout of the palace is like a small quadrangle. The preserved ancient cultural relics and statues of birds and beasts reflect the past prosperity here. The palace is built on the edge of a cliff, with flowing water and waterfalls in front of it, and it is also a generation of singers. "Listening to the sound of running water, relying on the scenic spots that have been photographed, my thoughts drifted farther and farther with the song of the small basket, floated to my childhood, floated to my parents, and floated to my mother's childhood when I was carried out. ...

I walked out of Chaiyangmen and turned right, then walked behind the waterfall, only to notice that there was a cave in this cave, which was actually the cave site of ancient aborigines. It is said that this cave could hold thousands of people a long time ago, and it was only after years of baptism that it was polished into what it is today.

Go through the corridor. They arrived at the Youshui Wharf in furong town. Looking to the left from the dock, you can see Furong Waterfall and Feishui Village on the edge of the cliff. The long deck of the dock is spread to the center of the lake, and several covered boats are parked next to the deck. Although manual repair was carried out in the later period, history left many traces of years on this dock. Now that the land has been developed, the waterway is naturally not as prosperous as before. However, there are still some small towns that need to cross the river by boat For thousands of years, the scenery on both sides of the strait has already changed.

In my impression, it seems that all ancient towns have old streets, but it seems that all ancient towns and old streets are the same.

In the ancient town, the tile houses are clear, and the earth-gray and blue walls have a sense of time. Several specialty rice tofu shops are mixed in horn comb shops everywhere. The shouts of passers-by, the "bang" sound of tourists' high-heeled shoes colliding with stone slabs, and the erhu music played by ancient and rare old people in old shops occasionally, with different voices mixed together, one after another, floating over the old streets, lingering.

This famous Wuli Stone Street has witnessed the rise and fall of furong town for thousands of years.

The key cultural relics museum of the Western Zhou Dynasty is located in the old street, and the copper pillar is built on the Tusi Square that enters the scenic spot. This copper pillar is of great significance to the local Tujia people. In 940 AD, Ma Xifan, the king of Chu who fought all the year round, shook hands with Shi Peng, the governor of Xizhou, and jointly ruled the border, casting a 5,000-kilogram copper column, which was engraved on the column as a certificate after negotiation and terms.

Further on, it is Guanyin Pavilion. There is a tortoise with a life span of hundreds of years in front of the pavilion. My friend urged me to touch it and felt very lucky. I'm really afraid it will bite me.

The journey is coming to an end, and our tour route is contrary to the routine. From the end of the street to the end of the street, there is also a special flavor.

When carefully tasted, furong town is like an old book sewn on the Internet. A movie 20 years ago, a bowl of rice tofu, opened the curtain of old books and spread this mysterious land in front of the world. The length of the toast king and the story of the diaojiao building in the pages have become more and more blurred with the passage of time, and the pages have long been yellowed and curled. History, we can't say it's true or not, but stories are handed down from generation to generation.

Life is a journey.

Someone will always follow you.

The world will eventually favor you all the way.
