Did the Chinese have epics? Why was the first Chinese epic found in Shennongjia?

The Chinese epic was formed around 4,000 centuries B.C. during the time of Emperor Yao. It is basically a four-verse poem, which is basically the same as the four-verse poem of King Gesar of the Tibetan people. The Chinese epics were already recorded in the Shang and Zhou periods, and were probably called "books" when they were edited. During the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States periods, they were probably edited again by Confucius and renamed "Shangshu," to show that they originated from the ancient times.

The discovery of the mythological epic "Dark Passage" of the Han people has been highly valued and warmly evaluated by the mythological circles in China and by sinologists in Germany, Britain, France, Austria and Denmark. This epic sung book of more than 3,000 lines long records the ancient creation myths of the Han people. The Dark Passage was discovered in Shennongjia because of its three unique positions: first, in the history of cultural development, it is a unique and excellent observation point of the whole process of cultural development from the beginning to civilization; second, in cultural morphology, it is a repository for the integration and active organization of diversified cultures; and, third, in cultural geography, it is a research laboratory for exploring the relationship between culture and region.

Since the 1980s, Shennongjia has successively discovered the first mythological epic of the Han race, "The Dark Passage", and the "living fossil" of the cultural history of the Chinese nation, such as "The Sun Scripture", "The Taiyin Scripture", and "The Sun and Taiyin Scripture", which further enriched the treasury of the advanced culture of the Chinese nation, and has important academic research value.
