What are the meeting formats?

There are eight main forms of meetings.

1. Meeting between the two sides

This planning form of meeting activities is designed for meetings with only two parties. Generally applicable to the activities prepared by * * *, or the two sides negotiate on their relationship or interests, or take an accidental opportunity to negotiate business.

2. Informal meetings

This kind of meeting is usually requested by a high-level person, and then joined and conducted by several other parties closely related to it. The purpose of holding such meetings is often to "get together and discuss ways to solve problems."

3. Brainstorming meeting

This kind of meeting is the development of temporary and informal meetings, and its purpose is to generate creative and innovative ideas. Therefore, participants should not be limited to those who are closely related to each other in the temporary informal meeting, but should expand the scope and join some participants with flexible thinking, broad vision or rich experience. Inspiration needs to interact with others and get feedback.

4. Emergency Committee

This kind of meeting is similar to the Standing Committee and informal meetings, and its purpose is to solve urgent problems. Although it is temporary, the content to be discussed at the meeting will obviously be much deeper and more specific, often involving specific implementation rules. Compared with the Standing Committee, it can be more flexible and does not need to consider many frameworks in advance, such as meeting schedule and meeting time. Although such meetings are often held in a hurry, they can often reach a resolution in a short time, so they are usually very efficient.

5. Standing Committee

The Standing Committee covers a wide range and usually has specific names, such as the board of directors and the financial management committee. Because it is a standing Committee, members have a long term of office, so it is more formal. It needs to be prepared in advance before the meeting, the agenda is relatively fixed, and the change of content is only related to time. Generally speaking, regular meetings of middle and high-level companies can be conducted in this form.

6. Formal meetings

This kind of meeting should be a standard meeting template, well-prepared, with a compact agenda and many participants. Its purpose is generally to tend to deal with important and uncontroversial issues and provide final decisions. Design an implementation plan for each participant and put it into practice. This kind of meeting is an indispensable and important content in business activities, and it is used in statutory meetings such as staff meetings and shareholders' meetings or management plenary meetings.

7. Demonstration meeting

Because the displayed information is intuitive, the main purpose of displaying the meeting is to convey some intuitive information to the participants.

This kind of meeting often leaves a deep impression on the participants. This form is generally suitable for some people to show or report their research reports or work results to others.

8. Open meetings

The main purpose of public meetings is to attract public attention and expand the influence of conveners. This kind of meeting is well prepared and well designed, but it often doesn't need participants to exchange and discuss. Generally, a resolution has been made, and it is only made public through meetings. Such as press conferences and business exhibitions.
