Training and Teaching of Basic Techniques of Muay Thai

Don't cling to the so-called martial arts theory that makes you dizzy and close to witchcraft. Because when you get to the ring, you will find it useless. More physical exercise and more actual combat. It is possible to be a great boxer. The following is the basic technical training and teaching of Muay Thai that I provide for you. Welcome to watch the study.

(A) psychological quality training

The quality of psychological quality directly affects the level of boxers in the competition and the success or failure of boxers in real fighting. In my personal watching and boxing career, I have never seen a Muay Thai player voluntarily abstain unless he can't afford the heavy blow of his opponent. This is also one of the factors that make me obsessed with Muay Thai and admire Muay Thai players. The psychological quality training of Muay Thai can be roughly divided into two types: one is personal belief (Thailand is a Buddhist country), and the other is more actual combat and training.

1. Meditation

Find a very quiet place to sit still and keep telling yourself that you are a champion. If it is before the game, tell yourself that you can win the game, or imagine yourself as your hero.

Try to recruit, actually fight

Always try to fight with boxers of different styles. If you fight more, your psychological quality will naturally improve. Of course, when trying to recruit, you can work hard according to your own level. (Can send 20% force, or 30% force) Try to ensure that both sides are not injured.

(2) Physical exercise

Friends who have participated in the competition all know the importance of physical fitness. No matter how fast you move and how skilled you are, if you can't keep up physically, you may lose to your opponent. Common physical training includes empty hitting, target kicking, running, variable speed running, slope running, swimming, dragging bridges, pushing carts and so on. Personally, I mostly use kicking live target (the target teacher needs to have quite high target feeding skills), running, dragging the bridge and running at variable speed.

1. Live target

Target teachers need to wear a set of professional Thai targets, mainly to sweep their legs. Practitioners keep pushing or punching, elbowing and bumping their knees, and the target teacher can also gently push and hit the practitioners. These trainings are mainly to keep the practitioners in combat. The target teacher should constantly change the direction and distance, which is what boxers should adapt to. A good boxer must have a good goal.

run

Running is also a very good way to enhance physical fitness. Generally, every time you run 8 to 15 kilometers, the running speed is mainly slow and middle, as long as it is to improve the cardiopulmonary function.

Tuoqiao

Towing a bridge is a good way to exercise endurance. The sparring partner held the coach's feet and ran forward. These are also very helpful for training students' endurance, peace and ability.

Variable speed running

This kind of training is similar to physical exertion in actual combat. Trainers can choose a place with a hillside, sprint 20 meters, walk a few meters slowly, then sprint, and so on.

(3) Strength training

A good fighter is not only fierce, but also fierce in fighting. Generally speaking, a boxer can use his head strength to lead a boxer with his own weight. They usually use barbells (concrete blocks), bridges and climbing to improve their strength.

Take the barbell. Take a piece of plastic with the length of 12 cm and the width of 1 cm and a rope of 1 m, then take a barbell of 10 to 15 kg (you can choose according to your own strength) and string the plastic pipe and barbell with the rope. Bite the plastic pipe with your teeth and do the action of lowering your head and raising your head. This action can not only practice neck strength, but also increase the ability of the lower forehead to fight. Generally, 10 to 15 is a group, and * * * is 3 to 5 groups.

Climb hard to find a sparring partner who is similar to himself, buckle his neck with both hands, hang all his strength on the sparring partner, and pull down hard to make the sparring partner bow, but the practitioner tries to resist. Do 3 to 5 groups in groups of 30 seconds.

(4) Vision training

Of all the boxers' weapons, the eyes are the first weapon. The eyes can judge the distance and observe the movements. We shouldn't blink under any attack from the opponent, because there is no response within 0. 1 second of blinking, but 0. 1 second can already beat the opponent. Traditional Muay Thai players practice their eyes with water, or practice in actual combat, or play lemons, and water training has the best effect.

The trainer takes a washbasin of clean water and puts it on a waist-high platform, leans over, and his eyes are about 10 ~ 15cm away from the water surface, then cuts the clean water by hand, so that the clean water splashes on his eyes. Try not to blink, practice repeatedly, and it will soon have an effect.

(5) Wrestling training

In Muay Thai training, wrestling training takes up a lot of space, almost every other day or every day. This kind of training can not only train the boxer's hand strength, waist strength and neck strength, but also train the boxer's vision and psychological quality.

The two sides confront each other, control each other's head with both hands and let each other be at your mercy. Don't bow your head. Both sides strive to grab the middle line and make themselves better in all aspects. This kind of training technique and skill are very demanding, so it is recommended to practice under the guidance of a professional coach to avoid injury.
