First, the connotation of English core literacy analysis
Core literacy includes three aspects: cultural foundation, independent development and social participation, as well as six qualities: humanistic background, scientific spirit, learning to learn, healthy life, responsibility and practice innovation. In primary school, the cultivation of students' core literacy is mainly achieved through subject teaching. Primary school English core literacy mainly includes language ability, cultural character, thinking quality and learning ability. Among them, language ability is the "core" of the core literacy of English subjects, especially the students' comprehensive application ability of language knowledge. Cultural character is the ability of students to understand Chinese and foreign cultures and identify with excellent cultures.
