What is the teaching philosophy?
The idea of effective teaching originated from the scientific teaching movement in the west in the first half of the 20th century, and attracted the attention of educators all over the world after American pragmatism philosophy and the teaching effectiveness verification movement influenced by behavioral psychology. Before the 20th century, the dominant teaching view in western education theory was "teaching is art". However, with the influence of scientific thought and the development of psychology, especially behavioral science, people realize that teaching is also a science. That is, teaching not only has scientific basis, but also can be studied by scientific methods. Therefore, people began to pay attention to the theoretical basis of philosophy, psychology and sociology of teaching, and how to study teaching problems with scientific methods such as observation and experiment. Effective teaching is put forward under this background.
