We call classical music elegant art, and I don't think this is deliberately flaunting classical music to a height that everyone feels out of reach. Besides the music itself has certain connotation and social background, the composer should follow a certain order and law when composing music, instead of piling up the notes in disorder. But this doesn't mean that elegant music can't be close to the people!
