Mercedes-Benz also knows that it will not only sell millions of pure trams, so it has built a MMA small and medium-sized pure tram platform. But the "people-friendly" products under this platform will not be available until 2025 at the earliest.
As for the operating system MB. The OS developed by Mercedes-Benz itself is expected to be ready in 2024, and then it will go through a series of preludes such as computer, feedback, debugging and correction, and then it will be installed in batches, at least around 2026.
It is difficult for this ship to turn around.
Therefore, it is not unfair to define the electrification of Mercedes-Benz as "false efforts". At present, there is quite a situation of "getting up early and catching up late". Will it make Mercedes-Benz anxious?
Not exactly. Maybe Mercedes did it on purpose. Maybe Mercedes did it.
It must be admitted that in the process of transition to electrification, Tesla, Weilai, etc. They are all "barefoot", and these people will rush up as long as they have the opportunity; Mercedes-Benz is wearing a pair of good shoes.
Mercedes-Benz will not be 100% electrified until the bonus of fuel vehicles disappears completely. The affection between Mercedes-Benz and traditional internal combustion engine is as inseparable as tender branches.
Don't be impressed by the beauty of a series of plans and strategies of Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz must have this so-called "coat" of hard work, otherwise it is very likely that Mercedes-Benz will really lose its future opportunities and will be "despised" by its neighbors as a decadent "former dynasty".

The second one is Tesla.
Although Tesla's background is completely different from that of Mercedes-Benz, Tesla's product line is what Mercedes-Benz yearns for. From one million to two hundred thousand, the layout is complete. Mercedes-Benz has absolute confidence. If the car series is built by "I", it will inevitably present a richer and more reasonable product line.
But Mercedes-Benz is still Mercedes-Benz, and Mercedes-Benz is still that Mercedes-Benz.

It is this "fatal" idea that makes EQC an outcast and laughing stock in the market.
When did Mercedes-Benz say that it was necessary to build electric cars first and empower them with technology? Then Mercedes-Benz, brand premium. Perhaps the chance of Mercedes-Benz electrification will increase by more than one order of magnitude.
It is true that in the face of Mercedes-Benz's heavy and huge body, it is also required to turn around lightly. Maybe we're too harsh.
