What is an undervalued snack?
Paal Appam is an undervalued breakfast food and a great snack. You don't need to go to southern India to eat. Indians in Malaysia will cook this delicious food. But few restaurants have this kind of pancake.
The edge is crisp and the middle is fluffy, like a funnel, but this is a coconut rice pancake-which makes it delicious and light, not as thick as pancakes. My favorite way to taste is simply to match coconut milk, but it is equally delicious to have delicious Carrizzo dishes.
Pam coconut with brown sugar will be a great dessert; The sweetness of palm sugar is well matched with coconut slices, which also gives it a delicious taste. Perfect choice for a tea break!
Roti Jala (Malay: "clean bread") is a popular food in buffets, weddings and banquets, but it is not always served in food stalls or restaurants. This is a kind of Malay tea with curry, especially curry chicken with potatoes. I like the soft sponge texture of pancakes in Jalalabad. It tastes a little creamy and is very suitable for spicy Kari (seasoned gravy).
Roti Jala is made of wheat flour, eggs, milk (or coconut milk) and turmeric powder. Mix them with water to form a flowing batter, and then pour it on a hot pot to form a circle.
Kanpaer fish ball noodles
In Malaysia, a place is usually associated with a food feature. Since the mid-1980s, this town has been famous for its local food: fried dumplings, fish balls, pork balls and so on. Campal doughballs has many methods: fish sauce wrapped in wonton skin and fish skin, stuffed in tofu and dried bean skin, and pork balls, a delicious clear soup with amalgam material and flavor, or fried with noodles, kari wheat or rice noodles of your choice.
Fish balls are a common food in Southeast Asia, South China, Hong Kong and overseas Chinese communities. It is made by mixing fish and spices and boiling or frying them in thick soup.
Putu pire (coconut and Gula Malacca steamed rice cake).
This is a specialty of Malacca! Can only be found in known places. This is a traditional snack, cooked in a traditional way, and often associated with Nile cuisine. Rice noodles need a lot of preparation, repeated screening and curing overnight. Maybe that's why not many people sell this kind of cupcakes.
The white layer is a mixture of rice flour, fresh shredded coconut and coconut sugar (locally known as "Gula Malacca"-a specialty of the historic city of Malacca).
The bread is pressed on the small banana leaves and steamed in a small steamer. The taste is crisp and smooth, with a hint of smoke from Gula Malacca (palm sugar). A good quality cake won't stick. Flour needs to be of good quality and ready.
