1, Dong Yuan
Dong Yuan (934- 962) was born in Zhong Ling, Jiangxi Province (now Jinxian County, Jiangxi Province). Painter of Southern Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, the originator of landscape painting of Southern School, and Li Cheng and Fan Kuan are also called the Three Masters of Northern Song Dynasty.
Li Jing, the leader of the Southern Tang Dynasty, thought that Beiyuan was an agreement, so it was also called "Dongbeiyuan". He is good at painting landscapes, and his works include figures and beasts. His landscape was originally learned from Hao Jing, and his brushwork was heavy and heroic. Later, he painted with the real scene of Zhenshan in the south of the Yangtze River, not a strange pen.
The sparse forest and distant trees are remote and secluded, shaped like hemp skin, and later people call them "horses". The top of the mountain is covered with fine moss, bright water, cloudy and cloudy, and the Zhutingxi Bridge is full of truth. 2. Fan Kuan

He was wild and fond of drinking. Being good at painting landscapes is one of the "three outstanding figures in Northern Song Dynasty".
Li Cheng, a beginner, later realized that "he who learns from others does not learn from nature", so he lived in seclusion in the south and Taihua, creating ideas for scenery, writing scenes and writing bones, and became a family of his own. His paintings are dignified and magnificent, giving people a sense of grandeur and precipitousness.

3. Li Cheng
Li Cheng (9 19-967) was a painter in the early Song Dynasty. Word xian Xi. Originally from Chang 'an (now Shaanxi 'an), it was the imperial clan of the Tang Dynasty. In the Five Dynasties, my grandfather moved to Yingqiu (now Qingzhou, Shandong), so it was also called Li Yingqiu.
He is good at painting landscapes, learning from Hao Jing and Guan Tong, and learning from nature, making his own family. Draw more rural scenery. Plain cold forest, concise painter, sparse weather, easy to use light ink, known as "cherish ink as gold"; Painting rocks like cirrus clouds is called "cirrus clouds" by later generations.
Draw a cold forest and create a "crab claw" method. It has a great influence on the development of landscape painting in the Northern Song Dynasty and is known as "the first in ancient and modern times". The existing works include Reading the Stone Map of the Monument, Ye Ping Map of the Cold Forest, Qingluan Small Temple Map, Maolin Deep Cave Map and so on.
4. Xu Xi
Xu Xi, an outstanding painter in the Southern Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, was born in Jinling (now Nanjing) and Zhong Ling (now Jiangxi Jinxian). Born in "Jiangnan Famous Family". Born in the reign of Guangqi, he returned to Song in the last year of Kaibao (AD 975) and died soon.
As an official all his life, Guo called him "Chu Shi in the south of the Yangtze River". Shen Kuo said that he was "Jiangnan Buyi". He is generous and broad-minded, ambitious, and good at painting flowers, bamboo forests and trees, cicadas, butterflies and insects, just like nature.
5. Shen Zhou
Shen Zhou (1427- 1509), born in Wengyutian, Baishi, Shi Tian, is the owner of Zhulou. Mr. Wu School founder, originally from Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu). Born in the second year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty, he died in the fourth year of Zhengde in Ming Dynasty at the age of eighty-two (virtual eighty-three).
He didn't take the imperial examination, but specialized in poetry, calligraphy and painting. He was the pioneer of the "five schools" of literati painting in the middle of Ming Dynasty, and was also called "Ming Sijia" with Wen Zhiming, Tang Yin and Chou Ying.
Handed down from ancient times, his works include High Map of Lushan Mountain, Old Map of Lin Qiu and Interesting Map of Cangzhou. He is the author of Shi Tian Ji and Ke Wen.
