Compared with traditional engineering, what will be the development trend of computers in the next decade?

I have been focusing on the architectural design industry 10 for many years, so I can be said to be an old engineering student. This is my view on the problem mentioned in the title.

First of all, in terms of salary, engineers in the traditional engineering industry are indeed inferior to those in the financial or IT industries.

There is no doubt that engineering students in our architectural design industry start with a monthly salary of 4/5 thousand yuan. Work hard for a few years before the age of 30, and you can basically get an annual salary of100000. Even if you have experience after 30, you will get an annual salary of 200,000-300,000 at most. Moreover, not everyone can get this figure, and most of them can't reach this level. Generally speaking, the income of traditional engineering industry is directly proportional to your length of service.

In finance, especially in IT industry, wages are generally higher, especially for energetic young people under 35. A year's income can often top the income of ordinary engineering students for several years or even more than ten years, but working in the IT industry is like having a youthful meal. Older people are not as strong as young people. On the contrary, your income will drop. Even optimized layoffs over the age of 35 are often seen in newspapers. On the whole, the income from working in IT is more like a parabola. At the age of 30, you can reach the top of your income, and then it will gradually decline. Although the overall income level is still higher than that of traditional engineering students, its disadvantages are instability and great career fluctuation.

Secondly, in terms of labor intensity, engineers in the traditional engineering industry are not necessarily easier than IT.

It was popular among code farmers some time ago. 996? Overtime has brought many problems to the engineering construction and design industry. A painter? We strongly despise that a 996 was made like this by you. Don't you know that our painter has always been in the working state of 007! Painters who are bald at a young age in the office are all sitting in rows! Therefore, in fact, it is not easy for traditional engineering students from the perspective of work intensity. As for the construction workers who run the construction site, although they don't stay up late to work overtime every night, they follow the project all the year round, feeling that they can't go home, and the working state of getting together with their families is not affordable for ordinary people.

In short, the traditional engineering field does have a certain gap with the IT and financial industries in terms of working environment and salary, but the victory lies in stability, which is unmatched by IT and other industries. As for disciplines? Completely exploded? And from what angle!
