Types of society that refer to relationships such as husband and wife, father and son, mother and son. Sociology makes other distinctions with respect to types of society.

Societies are categorized in terms of the way in which they survive:

Hunting and gathering societies. This is the earliest and simplest society, characterized by: hunting and gathering fruits to survive, small social groups, living areas, almost no special division of labor, based on blood and kinship ties. ② Animal husbandry society. Usually found in areas not suitable for farming but for grazing and raising livestock. Characterized by the emergence of surplus products, private property, and conflicts and wars between ranks, classes, and groups, and the formation of political, economic, religious, and cultural systems. ③ Primitive society. It emerged in areas suitable for farming, with people's initial mastery of farming methods. Characterized by: the cultivation of crops rose to become the main mode of production, hunting and fruit-gathering fell to a secondary mode, large-scale sedentary social groups appeared, and, as in the case of pastoralist societies, inequality and class differentiation began to appear. Agricultural society, also called pre-industrial society. It developed with the invention of the plow. Social surplus products appeared in large quantities, the social class system and stratification system became more consolidated, and there was a great development of bureaucracy and bureaucratic class. ⑤ Industrial society, also called modern society.
