What does Yi Tuo mean?
Yi Tuo, the traditional sports activities of Kazak people. Popular in Kazak areas of Xinjiang. Generally, when celebrating a bumper harvest, moving to a new house or holding a wedding, it will be held on a wide lawn or pasture with conditions. The form and rules of the competition are similar to "wrestling", but they are not the same. Before the competition, the host divided the contestants into two equal teams, and each team selected a representative to decide the outcome by "wrestling". The negative side pushed the other person to wrestle with the winner until no one was present. If the negative side is eliminated, the winning side will have wrestlers and the audience present "wrestling" one by one until all the audience are defeated, thus winning. The winner of the competition finally won a generous prize.
