What is the folk tale "The Little Fortune of the Divine Chef" based on?

"Little Fugui" is based on the story "At the end of the Qing Dynasty, when the Eight-Power Allied Forces entered the capital, the Empress Dowager Cixi fled westward with the Emperor Guangxu and others." This background was created.

It tells the story of Little Fugui's grandfather, who was chosen by Little Li as Cixi's royal chef in the late Qing Dynasty because of his excellent cooking skills. A group of old-fashioned ministers led by Old K wanted to lend a hand in poisoning the Empress Dowager, prompting Cixi to make up her mind to depose Guangxu, and Little Fugui's grandfather unfortunately became Eunuch Little Li's candidate for poisoning, and was found to be the murderer of the poisoner, and sentenced to be executed after the fall.

Small Fugui, a skilled chef, practiced his skills to become the chief chef of the Imperial Cuisine, but was caught up in a political struggle.

With all his efforts, Little Fugui finally gets the eighteen golden kitchen utensils and fulfills his grandfather's wish to promote Hong family cuisine to the world. However, in the end, under the secret manipulation of Old K, all of Little Fugui's friends who were the best to him left him. Listening to the words of Little Flying Butterfly and Bean Sprout, Little Fugui leaves the palace and returns to the folklore in search of true love.
