Characteristics of Ren Xinghang's Works

(1). Wood burning process: Wood burning process is an important traditional firing process of Jun porcelain. Because of the long flame, soft flame and small temperature difference, the kiln transformation of wood-fired Jun porcelain often presents a moist and colorful artistic conception, and its artistic effect is far better than that of Jun porcelain fired with coal or charcoal. Later, due to the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty and the southward migration of the Song Dynasty, the production technology of wood-fired Jun porcelain was gradually lost. Ren Xinghang resumed the process of burning firewood a few years later. Its wood-fired Jun porcelain works are elegant, exquisite and unique, and the kiln scenery is magical and wonderful, which shows the artistic characteristics of Song Jun.

(2) Hand-painted blank: Traditional Jun porcelain is antique, and its charm cannot be obtained without hand-painted blank. Hand-painted blank forming requires higher manual skills and greater labor intensity, while Ren Xinghang's works mostly use hand-painted blanks, with regular and square shapes and dignified atmosphere.

(3) Glaze color: The preparation of glaze water is the secret of every kiln mouth, and it is also one of the factors that can most affect the effect of Jun porcelain. Mr. Ren Xinghang inherited Mr. Ren Jian's experience in glaze making and devoted himself to the cause of glaze making. The glaze water used in Ren Xinghang's works is bright and elegant. It has achieved the artistic effect of "the clouds break after the rain and the sunset glow is purple and green".
