The population of the Qin nationality is about 460,000, and most of them live in the Qinshan Mountains in western Myanmar. Qin nationality belongs to the Qin branch of Tibeto-Burman language family of Sino-Tibetan language family, and it is one of the nationalities that moved southward with Tibeto-Burman language family and entered Myanmar earlier. After several migrations, Qin people entered the mountainous areas of western Myanmar in the 14- 15 century, and some of them migrated to Assam, India.
