The traditional position of natural childbirth

People usually say that giving birth to a child is our labor process, which refers to the whole process from the contraction of the uterus to the delivery of the fetus placenta. This process is divided into cervical dilatation period, fetal delivery period and placental delivery period. So, here's the problem. When giving birth, what kind of posture should pregnant women take that is most conducive to the smooth delivery of their children? In the process of daily delivery, we often see that the delivery posture is lying, but in fact there are several kinds of lying, and many unborn mothers can learn more about it.

Interceptor position

This is the most common and widely used posture for pregnant women during childbirth. This position is very convenient for observing cervical dilatation and smooth delivery. Most importantly, it will be easier and more convenient for women to transfer from this position to other types of positions. Of course, this posture also has an obvious disadvantage, that is, it is easy to oppress the organs, blood vessels and nerves at the back of the uterus. If you do this for a long time, your mother is prone to backache. In layman's terms, it means feeling familiar, lying in bed playing tuba. That kind of feeling, let's not say it.

Sitting place

This posture is more in line with the laws of nature and is conducive to the smooth birth of the baby. Compared with squatting position, sitting position lasts longer and the parturient will be more comfortable. There is no doubt that this posture improves the comfort of the parturient and deepens the happy mood of the parturient as much as possible. At present, many hospitals prefer this delivery position, and specially prepared delivery chairs to help sit for delivery. Of course, there is no perfect method, and lying-in women are prone to yin edema after sitting for a long time, which is not conducive to listening to fetal heart.

Lateral position

During pregnancy, many mothers will find that the baby's fetal position is not correct and needs to be adjusted in order to give birth smoothly. Then, this kind of posture, lateral position, is specifically aimed at this kind of pregnant women. This position can not only correct the fetal position, but also let the parturient have a good rest and relieve the urgent labor. Of course, this position is also the most difficult position to deliver a baby.

Semi-reclining position

This position is convenient for observing fetal heart rate and maternal complexion. The disadvantage is that all the weight is concentrated in the perineum, which hinders delivery. In daily life, the hospital will organically combine the semi-recumbent position and the lithotomy position to make up for the deficiency of the two positions.

Of course, in practice, it is not only this kind of concentrated posture, but the doctor will let the mother adjust her posture according to the actual situation. Therefore, after going to the delivery bed, mothers should not stick to their own opinions and listen to the midwife nurse.
