Guangzhou Southern College is at No.882 Hot Spring Avenue, Conghua District, Guangzhou City.

II. Introduction of the school

(1) Guangzhou Southern College (formerly known as Southern College of Sun Yat-sen University) is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006 and founded by Sun Yat-sen University in cooperation with Guangdong Pearl River Investment Co. It is a multidisciplinary full-time applied undergraduate college of higher education, and was selected as a pilot college for the transformation of Guangdong's general undergraduate program in 2016.

(2) The school has brought together a group of faculty and department chairmen, discipline leaders and management backbones who have inherited the fine tradition and spiritual culture of first-class universities in China, and who have always dreamed of promoting the reform of Chinese higher education in this "experimental field" of the school, and realizing the mission of constructing a first-class private university and walking in the forefront of China's applied universities in China.

(3) The university has 10 faculties and 42 enrolled undergraduate majors, forming a disciplinary system with management, literature and engineering as the main subjects, and economics, medicine and art as the coordinated development, with a reasonable structure and complementary advantages.
