Top Ten Classics of National Education

The top ten classics of national education are "The Records of the Grand Historian", "The Classic of Poetry", "Tao Te Ching", "Zizhi Tongjian", "Three Hundred Poems of the Tang Dynasty", "The Art of War", "Zhuangzi", "Guwen Guanzhi", "The Analects of Confucius", and "The Family Book of Zeng Guofan".

1, "the Records of the Grand Historian"

"The Records of the Grand Historian" is a masterpiece of historiography authored by China's renowned historian Sima Qian, listed in the "Twenty-four Histories", which chronicles the history of about three thousand years from the beginning of the legendary Yellow Emperor to the first year of the Han Dynasty Emperor Wu Di's Yuan Hun Yuan, and has been hailed as the "masterpiece of the historians.
