The survey results show that 90% of the 200 students surveyed like listening to pop music, and 10% of them are obsessed with pop music. Those who thought listening to pop music would not affect their studies accounted for 73 percent of the total; those who thought listening to pop music would affect their studies accounted for 11 percent of the total; and 16 percent held a neutral attitude.

The pop music as a rest and recreation project, cultivate the sentiment, organize the brain, will be very good to mobilize the interest and motivation of learning. So listening to pop music can't talk about affecting learning, just use in relaxing our nerves.

The reasons for thinking that listening to pop music affects learning are as follows:

Because I like to listen to it, I lose track of time and put aside what I should do. Some people have the habit of listening to songs while studying, which makes them lose concentration and won't give their full attention to their studies. (The survey showed that just 17% of students have listened to music in class.)

Just to rationalize, do a combination of work and rest, do not blindly listen to, obsessed with listening.

But pop music also has a side that is not suitable for high school students:

The content of pop music songs is not suitable for high school students, and most of the songs are love songs, and some of the songs are violent. If you are addicted to the content of the lyrics, you will let the middle school students go astray. Listening to songs all day long will also waste our study time.

Pop music is a product of social development and a vanguard of fashion, and secondary school students, as an energetic group, are most likely to accept it. We should accept pop music reasonably, utilize pop music, let it be a good helper for us to get rid of our worries and relieve our sorrows, instead of letting it become a stumbling block on the road of our study.
