Exhibition introduction:

This exhibition is an annual regular international exhibition sponsored by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and undertaken by the Vietnam National Advertising Exhibition. From 1994 to 20 13, it is the 20th. Thanks to the strong support of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, this exhibition has become the largest and most influential professional regular exhibition in Vietnam's medical and health field, and it is also one of the well-known professional medical exhibitions in Southeast Asia.

In recent years, the import demand of Vietnamese medicine and health care market has increased rapidly, which has attracted many China enterprises to explore this market in just a few years and achieved good results. Since the organizing committee named "China Medicine, Pharmacy and Medical Devices (Vietnam) Exhibition" for the first time in 2007, it has become the most specialized international exhibition in Vietnam's medicine, pharmacy and medical devices industries, and also the exclusive "China" brand exhibition for China's medicine and medical enterprises to explore the Vietnamese market. Each exhibition has attracted many famous large enterprises in China's domestic medicine and medical industry. 20 13 will be the 6th China Medicine and Medical Treatment (Vietnam) Exhibition, which will publicize the "Vietnam Exhibition of Chinese Medicine and Medical Devices" more widely, attract more Vietnamese professional buyers to visit and promote the Sino-Vietnamese medical trade. In order to meet the market demand, Vietnam International Hospital, Medical Supplies Exhibition and Vietnam International Dental Exhibition will be held in the same period.

China Pavilion 20 12 achieved remarkable results;

At present, Vietnam's medical market is in a period of rapid growth. In the next 3-5 years, a lot of money will be invested in the upgrading of old medical equipment to meet the growing demand of the domestic medical industry! This has given birth to huge business opportunities for China enterprises, so since the first China Medical (Viet Nam) Exhibition was held, it has attracted hundreds of China enterprises to participate every year!

20 12 In May, more than 70 enterprises from China participated in the exhibition. Hu Suo, the Embassy of China in Vietnam, went to business counselor to attend the exhibition and had a dialogue with enterprises from China. He spoke highly of the exhibition! Old customers from other countries also participated in the exhibition, which is rare in the Southeast Asian market. The exhibition covers an area of more than 6,000 square meters and has 450 international standard 9 square meters booths. The products involved in the exhibition are all kinds of medicines, medical devices, medical consumables, pharmaceutical equipment and medical products. During the four-day exhibition, China Pavilion received more than 65,438+2,000 professional visitors, and signed a number of trade contracts and letters of intent for cooperation. 50% of the exhibitors in China are old customers, attracting many well-known domestic enterprises to participate, such as Shenzhen Panda Kai, Sinopharm Group, Shenzhen Anke, Jiangsu Yuyue, Shanghai Ke Hua, Qinhuangdao Kangtai, Jiangsu Haosen Pharmaceutical, Jiangsu Sihuan Pharmaceutical, etc.

Drugs produced in China, especially those that cannot be produced in Viet Nam, such as proprietary Chinese medicines, new and special medicines, bulk drugs, immune drugs, etc., are most popular with customers. China has dozens of pharmaceutical companies registered for sale in Viet Nam. Vietnamese National Pharmaceutical Company, the first and second central pharmaceutical import and export companies all come to the exhibition regularly to seek cooperation with China enterprises! At the same time, China's medical equipment and medical supplies have been greatly neglected by Vietnamese customers. Because its domestic production capacity is almost blank, a lot of demand depends on imports. China's medical supplies, surgical equipment, pharmaceutical equipment, drug packaging, endoscopic equipment, medical reagents, rehabilitation instruments, otolaryngology treatment instruments, dental treatment instruments, electroencephalograph and obstetric care equipment are the key points of customer procurement. Some large Vietnamese pharmaceutical companies and import and export companies regularly purchase China equipment from exhibitions every year.

Since 2007, many China exhibitors have found Vietnamese agents and partners through this platform, and successfully entered the Vietnamese market, and achieved good sales performance. Some China enterprises have started to invest in the Vietnamese market, such as Beijing Tongrentang and China Pharmaceutical Group.

Special activities during the 20 12 exhibition:

1. Introduce Vietnam's medicine and medical market policies, and guide China enterprises to explore the Vietnamese market.

2. Organize China enterprises to visit Vietnam Central Hospital and Vietnamese pharmaceutical enterprises.

Professional visitors from Vietnam come from: Vietnam Pharmaceutical Import and Export Corporation, Vietnam Medical Device Import and Export Corporation, Vietnam Central Hospital, Vietnam Provincial Hospital, Vietnam Pharmaceutical Enterprises, major medical institutions in Vietnam, Vietnam National Camp, private medical product agents, Vietnam National Camp and private medical device product agents.

Authorized by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam and Vietnam National Advertising Expo Company, Simec International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (CMEC), Hong Kong Expo International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (HKIEX) and Guangxi Expo Co., Ltd. (GXIEX) were designated as the 6th China Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices (Vietnam) Exhibition and 19 Vietnam International Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Exhibition and China.

Vietnamese government: encouraging imports and preferential policies.

Vietnam's Ministry of Health encourages and welcomes high-quality foreign medical equipment. According to the relevant regulations, about 40 kinds of medical device products need the approval of the Vietnamese government, and the Vietnamese import enterprises apply for approval, and the rest can trade freely without approval. Medical devices are encouraged to be imported, and the import tariff is only 0-8%. Some China enterprises that entered ahead of time found Vietnamese agents and set up offices in Hanoi or Saigon, and their products were sold all over Vietnam. Compared with other Southeast Asian countries, the market entry threshold for medical devices set by the Vietnamese government is relatively low. At present, there are 65 medical device manufacturers in Vietnam, including domestic and joint ventures, or foreign capital: 342 medical device import and export enterprises (data source: Ministry of Health of Vietnam in 2008). Vietnamese enterprises mainly produce hospital indoor supplies, operating room equipment, disposable consumer goods and some medical electronic equipment, such as extracorporeal gallstone crusher, X-ray machine, fetal heart rate diagnostic hearing instrument, semiconductor laser electronic needle, electrocardiogram equipment, etc., which are far from meeting the needs of Vietnamese medical equipment, especially advanced equipment market.

Analysis of Vietnam's pharmaceutical market;

The per capita drug consumption in Vietnam will increase from $65,438+$06.65438+$03 in 2008 to $60.30 in 2065. As a neighbor of China, Vietnam is deeply influenced by the traditional culture of China, and Vietnamese consumers are very fond of the famous Chinese patent medicine brands exported from China. In the treatment of diabetes, dysmenorrhea, hepatitis B, kidney calculi's disease, skin diseases, tumors, cardiovascular drugs and other aspects, Chinese patent medicines have a wide "popularity". In August 2007, Beijing Tongrentang officially settled in Vietnam, and the established Beijing Tongrentang Vietnam Joint Venture Company introduced the best quality Chinese patent medicines to the Vietnamese market. In June 2006, the pharmaceutical factory of Vietnam-China Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which was jointly established by China Pharmaceutical Foreign Trade Company and Vietnam Central No.1 Pharmaceutical Factory, was completed with a total investment of 3.435 million US dollars, mainly producing cephalosporins and penicillin antibiotics for injection, which is at the leading level in Vietnam. At present, the drug production order received by Yuezhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has completed this year's sales task ahead of schedule.

In recent years, Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry has developed rapidly and the pharmaceutical market has great potential. At present, 47% of drugs are imported from abroad, while domestic drugs in Vietnam can only meet 53% of the market demand, and most of them are conventional drugs and low-priced drugs. All kinds of specific drugs, specific drugs and expensive drugs basically rely on foreign imports. Vietnam's Ministry of Health approves an average of 65,438+0,500 drug registration licenses every year. At present, there are 22/kloc-0 foreign companies operating in Vietnam, among which China ranks third, only after Indian and French. Vietnam opened its pharmaceutical business to the outside world in 2007, and the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry fulfilled the agreement signed with WTO, allowing foreign pharmaceutical companies to open branches in Vietnam. From June 5438+1 October1day, 2008, foreign-funded enterprises (accounting for less than 5 1%) can engage in drug import and export business; From June 5438+1 October12009, foreign enterprises can directly sell drugs to domestic enterprises with distribution rights in Vietnam. At the same time, the drug tax rate will be lowered by 0-0.5% from the current 0- 10%. . By the end of 2008, among the 89 Vietnamese pharmaceutical factories that have reached GMP standards, 22 have foreign capital, with a capital of US$ 654.38+US$ 92.9 million and 40 production lines, with an output value of US$ 654.38+US$ 58.273 billion, accounting for about 22% of the total drug production value of China pharmaceutical factories.

There are 15 pharmaceutical enterprises invested by foreign countries in Vietnam, of which 100% is wholly foreign-owned, and 1 company is wholly China-owned. They have been established in Haiphong, Vietnam, and have obtained GMP certification and started production. Among the joint ventures, 17 enterprises have been formally produced, accounting for 12% of the total output and 17% of the total turnover. 2 12 foreign companies have obtained drug business licenses in Vietnam, 97 of which have offices. More than 30 pharmaceutical manufacturers in China have obtained business licenses in Viet Nam to sell drugs under their own brands.

Vietnam may become the biggest buyer of medical devices in China.

The new Public Compulsory Medical Insurance Law was passed in June 2008 and came into effect in June 2009. The Vietnamese government hopes that medical insurance will cover all Vietnamese in 20 14 years. The new law provides for three levels of medical insurance. The medical insurance of designated medical institutions will cover the whole people, and the medical insurance of other institutions will cover 95% and 80% respectively.

Most hospital equipment at all levels in Vietnam belongs to products imported from the United States, France and Japan in the 1980s. At present, the Vietnamese government has realized that the medical equipment commonly used in hospitals is in urgent need of upgrading. The Vietnamese government decided to invest 45.2 trillion Vietnamese dong (US$ 250 million) in 2009-20 13 to build new specialized hospitals, upgrade existing specialized hospital facilities, upgrade provincial general hospitals and develop other weak medical fields. About 86.5% of the medical equipment market is occupied by foreign medical equipment, and the medical equipment market in Vietnam is growing rapidly. Singapore, China and Japan are the main suppliers of medical equipment, accounting for 43.438+0% of the imported equipment market in 2008. However, the production of medical equipment in Vietnam is limited to some basic items such as syringes and sickbeds. In 2008, the total value of medical equipment exported from Vietnam only reached US$ 654.38+US$ 85.5 million, of which 29.6% was exported to Japan.

According to foreign reports, the most scarce medical equipment in Vietnam's medical system is "artificial kidney" (kidney dialysis equipment), because many patients in the country are waiting in line for hemodialysis. So far, domestic enterprises in Vietnam have not been able to produce hemodialysis machines by themselves. It is reported that a Japanese medical device company invested US$ 4.86 million in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam three years ago to establish a production plant with an annual output of 500,000 sets of artificial kidney/blood circulation instruments. At present, the company's sales have reached 6.5438+0.075 million USD/year. In addition to Vietnam's urgent demand for hemodialysis machines, Vietnam mainly buys products from China enterprises, including: surgical instruments, pharmaceutical equipment, drug packaging equipment and materials, various endoscopes, medical reagents and contrast media, dental equipment, otolaryngology treatment equipment, electrocardiographs and electroencephalographs, obstetric care equipment, rehabilitation equipment, electronic intensive care monitors, orthopedic instruments (such as various artificial joints), extracorporeal lithotripsy (such as ultrasonic lithotripsy) and high-resolution X-rays. Laser diagnosis and treatment equipment, laser beauty instrument, digital hearing aid, artificial blood vessel, anesthesia machine, ventilator, etc. These products are also urgently needed by Vietnamese municipal hospitals to upgrade medical instruments and equipment.

At present, there are 13433 state-managed medical units in Vietnam, including 903 public hospitals and 68 private hospitals. There are nearly 2000 hospitals at or above the county level. The total number of beds is 202,945,438+0, and the bed ratio per 10,000 people is 23.438+0. The male is 18.07. (Source: Statistics of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam from 2003 to 2007 and inspection of 932 hospitals in 2008) If the Vietnamese government can really implement a huge sum of money to update outdated medical devices, it will undoubtedly be a golden opportunity for the medical device industry in China.
