The two-story building in the country looks very imposing. Why are there so few people living on the second floor?

It is true that in rural areas, even if a two-story building is built, few rural people live on the second floor. But it is not absolute. Most people who live on the second floor are young people, and some of them are married young couples' rooms.

But most of the small buildings on the second floor built by rural people are unoccupied. Because of my work, I have been to many farmhouses, laying cables, installing solar energy, connecting pipes and so on. It is found that the second floor of many rural people's buildings either stores food seeds, piles up sundries or has empty rooms, which has become a comfortable nest for birds and mice.

For the two-story building that farmers have worked so hard to build, why are most two-story houses uninhabitable? Do you feel a little strange? Living on the first floor seems very narrow. Why not live on the second floor? It depends on the living habits of farmers. Farmers have a serious psychology of comparing with others. Even if others build their buildings, they must build their own buildings. And the buildings are very high, which are more than one foot and two in our hometown.

Back to the topic, now rural areas are generally willing to live in two-story buildings, and few people live in them. Why? I can think of the following reasons. First, the population of rural family members is small, so it is enough to live on the first floor, and naturally no one lives on the second floor. For example, there are about two bedrooms on the first floor, one for the husband and wife plus a son or daughter, and the same is true for the married son.

Second, people who stay at home in rural areas are old people, women and children, and there are enough rooms downstairs. In addition, it is inconvenient for the elderly to go up and down the stairs. Their legs and feet are weak and their bones are hard. Inadvertently tripping is very dangerous. Some rural floors have steep stairs, and there is no staircase lighting, which is easy to cause safety accidents.

Third, living on the second floor is uncomfortable. There is an old saying in the countryside that "winter is not hot and summer is not cold", so people living on the second floor are suffering. The second floor of many rural families is very simple, with a layer of gypsum hanging on it and no ceiling decoration. Most of the roofs are concrete flat roofs, which are neither warm nor warm. Decorate it and install air conditioning to make it more comfortable to live.

Fourth, the second floor is very simple, and there are no bathing facilities. Many rural buildings I have seen are very simple rooms on the second floor, except for the room with electric lighting, so there is no basic bathroom equipment. The bathrooms are all on the first floor, and the shower room is also below. Going to the toilet at night is nothing.

But it's much better now. Many young people in rural areas prefer to live on the second floor, especially married couples. Living on the second floor is very private and can do many things that the old people can't see. However, most of the rooms on the second floor are decorated, and the ceiling, home appliances and even bathrooms are all complete.
