Its discomfort is stronger than other appliances, and the adaptation period is longer, and patients with lingual discomfort can last for up to 3 months. Third, in addition, it will be more difficult to clean the lingual mouth, so it is best to use a special cleaning brush for lingual side. Fourthly, the cost of lingual orthodontics is high, and the operation time of chair bed is longer than that of labial side, so lingual orthodontists are needed for lingual orthodontics.
